How do I add all my liked songs to a Spotify playlist?

Updated

Quick answer

Use the Spotify desktop app: open Liked Songs, click one song, press Ctrl+A (Windows) or Cmd+A (Mac), then right-click and choose Add to playlist and New playlist. The phone app has no select all, so it's much easier on a computer.

  1. Open the Spotify desktop app and go to Your Library, then Liked Songs.
  2. Click any song once so the list is active.
  3. Press Ctrl+A or Cmd+A to select all.
  4. Right-click a highlighted song and choose Add to playlist, then New playlist (or pick an existing one).

If you have a huge library, give it a few seconds after selecting before you right-click. A single playlist tops out at 10,000 songs, so bigger libraries need splitting. See what to do over 10,000 songs.

On mobile, you can make a partial playlist instead. In Liked Songs, pick a filter at the top and tap Make this a playlist. Spotify says it's a snapshot, and songs you like later aren't added automatically.

Either way, the new playlist doesn't update itself. Repeat the steps now and then, or just copy the newest songs over. Once your likes are in a normal playlist, you can share it or copy it to another account.
