How to Transfer Spotify Playlists to Apple Music

Apple Music can import your Spotify playlists itself. On iPhone, open Settings, then Apps, then Music, and tap Transfer Music from Other Music Services (Apple's steps). It runs on SongShift and is free with an Apple Music subscription.

  1. Step 1: On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, then Apps, then Music. On the web, sign in at music.apple.com and click your profile picture.

  2. Step 2: Tap Transfer Music from Other Music Services and choose Spotify.

  3. Step 3: Sign in to Spotify and pick the playlists, songs and albums to move.

  4. Step 4: Tap Add to Library. If Apple Music says some music needs review, pick the right versions within 30 days.

Troubleshooting

Songs that are not on Apple Music, or that have different titles there, may not match. Check the unmatched list in your tool and search for those tracks by hand. Regional releases and remixes are the most common gaps.

Spotify keeps liked songs separate from playlists. In most tools you have to select Liked Songs as its own item. See moving Spotify liked songs to Apple Music.
