How to Export a Spotify Playlist to CSV, Excel or Text

Use Exportify for a CSV of your own playlists (GitHub), or Chosic to paste any public playlist link and download CSV or TXT with no login (Chosic). Open the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets.

CSV for Excel or Sheets

  1. Open Exportify and sign in with Spotify.
  2. Click Export next to the playlist.
  3. In Excel, use File > Open and pick the CSV. In Google Sheets, use File > Import.

Exportify's file includes track name, artists, album and more. You can switch on extra album and artist columns before exporting.

Plain text

  1. Copy the playlist link in Spotify (Share > Copy link to playlist).
  2. Paste it into Chosic's exporter and click Start.
  3. Choose TXT and download.

A text list is easiest to paste into an email or a notes app, or to feed into a transfer tool that accepts text.

Which columns do you need?

For moving a playlist to another service, the song title and artist are enough. The ISRC column, where a tool offers it, gives the most accurate matches because it identifies the exact recording.
