Deezer streams FLAC at CD quality (16-bit/44.1 kHz) on every paid plan. Spotify Premium now includes lossless up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz (Spotify). On most headphones and Bluetooth speakers the two sound the same.
Catalog
Both list over 100 million tracks. Spotify has the bigger podcast and audiobook library. Deezer is stronger in some regional catalogs, especially French and Brazilian music.
Features
Spotify leads on social features like Jam and Blend. Deezer's Flow mixes your favorites with new tracks and works well in place of Discover Weekly. Both have synced lyrics and offline downloads.
