Is transferring from Tidal to Qobuz free?
Quick answer
Yes, if you use the Soundiiz pass built into Qobuz. It gives you one month of unlimited transfers, including playlists, albums, artists and tracks, at no extra cost.
Start it from the Qobuz app under Settings and Transfer your library. The month starts when you activate the pass, so have your Tidal login ready and move everything in one go.
If the month has run out, here's what each tool gives you for free:
| Tool | Free limit | Paid plan |
|---|---|---|
| Soundiiz | One playlist at a time, up to 200 tracks each. Albums, artists and liked songs need Premium | $5 a month |
| TuneMyMusic | Up to 500 tracks, including liked songs and albums | $24 a year |
| FreeYourMusic | 300 songs, or 600 after an email sign-up | $38.99 a year |
For a library of a few small playlists, Soundiiz Free is enough: you can run as many single-playlist transfers as you like. For thousands of favorites, pay for one month of a tool, finish the job, and cancel straight after.
None of these tools delete anything from Tidal, so you can keep your Tidal subscription until you've checked the results.
