How do I transfer playlists from Tidal to Qobuz?
Quick answer
Use the Soundiiz pass that comes with Qobuz. In the Qobuz app, open Settings, tap Transfer your library, connect Tidal, and tick what you want to move.
Here's the flow from Qobuz's help center:
- In the Qobuz app, go to Settings and tap Transfer your library. Sign in with Qobuz and a Soundiiz account is set up for you.
- Pick Tidal as the source and sign in.
- Choose from Playlists, Albums, Artists and Tracks. Only Playlists is ticked by default, so tick the rest if you want your favorites too.
- Check the summary and confirm. Qobuz emails you when it's finished.
The pass gives you one month of unlimited transfers, so do everything in one sitting if you can. After that, Soundiiz Free moves one playlist at a time, capped at 200 tracks each.
TuneMyMusic is the other easy option. It matches songs by title, artist, album and ISRC code and gives you a CSV of anything it couldn't find. Its page also notes that Qobuz playlists and favorite tracks top out at 1,000 tracks, so longer playlists get split into parts.
Afterward, compare track counts on a few big playlists. The two catalogs aren't identical, so expect a few songs to need a manual search.
