If I delete a transfer, do I get those songs back on my free limit?
Quick answer
No. FreeYourMusic says songs from deleted transfers still count, and Soundiiz has no running total to give back in the first place.
| Tool | Deleting a transfer refunds songs? |
|---|---|
| FreeYourMusic | No, they still count |
| Soundiiz | Nothing to refund, each transfer has its own 200-track cap |
| TuneMyMusic | Not documented |
FreeYourMusic's help center says deleting a transfer doesn't give songs back, and its plans page repeats that the free allowance is for life. So deleting a test run and starting over won't buy you room. If you got a bad batch of matches, use the free rematch option on the songs that went wrong instead.
On Soundiiz, the question doesn't really come up. Its pricing page says there's no cumulative track allowance, so every transfer starts fresh with its own 200 selected tracks. Delete whatever you like and run the next playlist.
TuneMyMusic doesn't explain how its 500 free songs are tracked, or whether deleting anything changes the count. Treat those 500 as a one-shot budget and test with a small playlist before you send your whole library.
If you hit the cap, Soundiiz and TuneMyMusic both sell a monthly plan you can cancel after one move. See free playlist transfer for built-in options with no limit.
