How do I transfer an Apple Music library to Qobuz?

Updated

Quick answer

Use the free Soundiiz pass in the Qobuz app. Go to Settings, tap Transfer your library, choose Apple Music as the source, and tick everything you want to bring over.

Qobuz's help center names Apple Music as one of the supported sources. The steps:

  1. Open Transfer your library and sign in with Qobuz. Soundiiz creates an account for you.
  2. Pick Apple Music and sign in with your Apple Account.
  3. Tick Playlists, Albums, Artists and Tracks. Only Playlists is ticked by default.
  4. Confirm the summary and wait for the email saying it's done.

The pass is unlimited for one month. After that, Soundiiz Free moves one playlist at a time, up to 200 tracks each, and saved albums need Premium.

TuneMyMusic does the same job in a browser and moves playlists, favorite songs, albums and artists from Apple Music. Free covers 500 tracks. Qobuz playlists hold up to 1,000 tracks, so TuneMyMusic splits anything longer into parts.

Songs you ripped from CDs or uploaded to iCloud Music Library only come across if Qobuz has the same recording. Check the list of unmatched songs at the end and search for those by hand. Your Apple Music library stays as it was, since these tools only add to Qobuz.
