How do I transfer Apple Music playlists to Amazon Music?
Quick answer
Use a transfer tool. Apple's built-in Transfer Music only brings music into Apple Music, so you need something like TuneMyMusic in a browser or SongShift on iPhone to rebuild your playlists in Amazon Music.
On a computer, TuneMyMusic is the quickest route:
- Go to tunemymusic.com and choose Apple Music as the source.
- Sign in and pick your playlists or liked songs.
- Choose Amazon Music as the destination and sign in.
- Start the transfer and download the list of songs marked Missing.
TuneMyMusic matches by title, artist, album and ISRC code, and it says Amazon Music doesn't accept imported favorite albums, so saved albums won't come across. Playlists, liked songs and artists do. The free plan covers up to 500 songs.
On iPhone, SongShift moves Apple Music playlists to Amazon Music for free and lets you fix bad matches before anything is added. Soundiiz works too, one playlist at a time on its free plan, with a 200-track cap per playlist.
Amazon also has its own import, covered in our Spotify to Amazon Music guide. Open it in the Amazon Music app and see if Apple Music is offered as a source. If it isn't, use one of the tools above.
