How do I transfer playlists from an old Tidal account to a new one?

Updated

Quick answer

Tidal doesn't have a button for this. Either ask Tidal Support to move your playlists and collection, or use a transfer tool that lets you connect Tidal as both the source and the destination.

Tidal's help center lists moving playlists and collections from one Tidal account to another as something its support team can help with. That's the cleanest route if you still have access to the old login, since nothing has to be rematched.

If you'd rather do it yourself, FreeYourMusic has a Tidal to Tidal transfer: connect the old account as the source, the new one as the destination, pick your playlists, and start. It also moves favorites, saved albums and followed artists, and keeps playlist names and song order. The free tier covers 300 songs, or 600 after you sign up with an email, so a big library will need Premium.

A few tips before you start:

  1. Keep the old subscription active until the copy is done. You need to sign in to it.
  2. Sign out of Tidal in your browser between connections so the tool doesn't grab the same account twice.
  3. Check the results list for any songs that didn't match. FreeYourMusic's Rematch lets you fix those without starting over.
