How do I move playlists from JioSaavn or Wynk to Spotify or YouTube Music?

Updated

Quick answer

For JioSaavn, use FreeYourMusic, which supports it as a source. For Wynk, you're out of luck: Airtel shut Wynk Music down, so there's no account left for a tool to read.

Spotify's built-in import and TuneMyMusic don't list JioSaavn, so FreeYourMusic is the tool to use. It runs on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.

  1. Install FreeYourMusic and choose JioSaavn as the source.
  2. Sign in to JioSaavn on its own sign-in page.
  3. Choose Spotify or YouTube Music as the destination and sign in.
  4. Pick your playlists and start the transfer.

Playlists keep their names and song order. FreeYourMusic says liked songs depend on the app and that saved albums and followed artists aren't available from JioSaavn. The free tier covers 300 songs, plus 300 more after you sign up with an email. The JioSaavn to YouTube Music route works the same way.

Airtel announced in August 2024 that it would shut Wynk Music and pointed users to Apple Music offers instead. If you still have a Wynk playlist as screenshots or a typed list, paste the song names into TuneMyMusic's Free text option and send them to Spotify or YouTube Music.
